Make plans to join the Reese Adult Day Center for the 9th Annual Taste of Italy on Thursday, February 4, 2010. Join us to celebrate the Reese Adult Day Center’s 10th Anniversary! The event is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Reese Adult Day Center, 123 South Third St. in Newark. The proceeds from this event will support programs and services for older adults with aging conditions and people with disabilities in Licking County. Tickets are $20.00 each

The evening includes a silent auction, live music, a game of wine ring toss, and a delicious Italian dinner. Each year, the generous support for this event from area businesses and individuals ensures that programs and services will continue to be available for older adults in need for many years to come.

A satellite program of UCP of Central Ohio, the Reese Adult Day Center is Licking County’s only nationally-accredited adult day program. The Reese Center shares the mission of UCP of Central Ohio in providing an environment where people with disabilities and aging conditions receive individualized programs and support services. Health, social work, and personal care services as well as recreational activities, meals, and transportation are offered to maximize the functional and self-care abilities of participants.
