How Can a Volunteer Help?
- Fun Activities: Help participants during parties, craft activities, current events, exercise and sports, and many others.
- Socialization: Work one on one with a participant or in a group setting; visiting, playing games, encouraging them to interact with one another and building friendships.
- Art Classes: Help participants with pottery and sculpture, drawing, oil painting, watercolor, or woodworking.
- Teaching: Help our staff instruct participants in cooking, money management, reading, writing or with memory skills classes.
- Entertain: Show off your talent(s)! If you dance, sing, do magic tricks, etc., come on out and perform for our participants.
- Board Service: Make a difference by serving on our Board of Directors.
How Do I Become A Volunteer?
- Come in for a tour and informal informational interview to see if we share matching interests.
- If you are comfortable or would like to become more comfortable around people with disabilities or aging conditions we'd love to hear from you.
