Why Should I Play In This Golf Tournament?

You’re invited to be part of an important event, a great tradition in Central Ohio.  Not only will you and your team be helping to raise money for UCP of Central Ohio, you’ll also enjoy a competitive golf game, a great lunch, buffet dinner, drinks and snacks on the course, and cocktails at the reception.  Also plan to take part in our silent auction for a chance to take home gifts for yourself or family and friends.  In the past 4 years, this event has raised more than $180,000 for UCP's programs and services.  By taking part, you are assisting us as we continue our important mission of advancing the independence of people with disabilities, to enable their full inclusion in life and the Central Ohio community.
    

Why Should I Support This Golf Tournament?

For over 50 years, our mission has been to provide an environment where people with disabilities and aging conditions receive individualized programs and support services.  You can make it your mission to participate in this year’s event, and encourage your friends, family and coworkers to join you.  The success of this event directly affects our ability to improve the lives of more than 190 participating adults with physical and mental disabilities in Central Ohio through our Adult Day and Employment programs located at our agency on the Westside of Columbus and the Reese Adult Day Program in Newark.  There is no cure for cerebral palsy and other physical and mental disabilities.  Your financial help enables UCP to provide much needed services to enhance the quality of life for an underserved population.  Approximately 88% of our $3.1 million annual operating budget directly supports UCP’s services and programs in our Central Ohio community each year, making our UCP one of the most financially-efficient non-profits in the area.  Please visit our website at www.ucpofcentralohio.org for more information.
