Grace Kindig Adult Day Program

By jdaniels
Created Sep 26 2005 - 3:51pm
The Grace Kindig Adult Day Program is a daytime alternative to nursing home care.  Low staff to participant ratios allow older adults to receive the supervision and assistance they need in a safe, monitored environment. Experienced and sensitive staff share with you in the responsibility of caring for your loved one, allowing him or her to remain at home longer.

The Caregiver

We understand that caring for a dependent family member or friend can be demanding. What do you, the Caregiver, need?

Who is Eligible?

All Franklin County residents 55 years of age or older who have an aging condition and/or disability are eligible for the Adult Day Program.   Individuals may be ambulatory or use a wheelchair or scooter.

Are Adult Day Centers Regulated?

Currently, centers are not licensed in the state of Ohio.  However, the Grace Kindig Center has chosen to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The agency received a three year accreditation in 2001, 2004 and again in 2007.  This means that we have passed an in-depth review of our services.  It is YOUR assurance that the Grace Kindig Center meets the rigorous CARF guidelines for service and quality – a qualified endorsement that we adhere to nationally and internationally recognized service standards.
